Nokia today revealed the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic, a 3G smartphone augmented by a dedicated audio chip for enhanced music performance. The 5700 features a twist design that switches between four modes at the flick of the wrist - music player, 2.0-megapixel camera, video call and smartphone.

Visa sees cell phones as the best way to expand electronic payments, CEO John Philip Coghlan announced today, where he also revealed ties with several wireless technology companies.

Samsung Develops 8.4-Megapixel CMOS Sensor for Camera Phones

Samsung Electronics today announced an 8.4-megapixel CMOS image sensor (CIS) with a 1.4umpixel design at Samsung’s fourth annual Mobile Solution Forum.
The new CIS chip provides a high signal to noise ratio (SNR), a key measure of overall image quality.
