The Nokia N78 automatically tags images with capture location metadata, making it possible to view the capture location on a map either on the device itself, or online. With its high-speed internet connectivity, over WLAN or HSDPA, uploading photos and videos to online communities like Share on Ovi, Flickr or YouTube is a single key stroke away.

This is the success to the N73 which was a buggy phone,we hope they have ironed out the software problems on this sexy looking phone. This phone has the extra features such has wireless abd AGPS.

The Nokia N78 is expected to start shipping during the second quarter of 2008, with an estimated pre-tax retail price of 350 euros.

Win a Nokia N81 from a raffle draw

Posted by admin 24 November, 2007 (0) Comment

 nokias_music_phone_raffle_prize_large.jpg

Finnish company Nokia has announced a unique raffle to win its latest N81 mobile phone, which is being widely-used to download music from the newly-created Nokia Music Store.

To enter the free competition, music fans should access Nokia’s ‘raffle it’ website where they can choose up to 10 different ticket numbers, with no charge involved. The organisers can rightly claim that there’s a prize for everyone - each participant is guaranteed one month’s free music streaming.

The N81 is part of the Nokia range which is optimised to connect to the Nokia Music Store, from where millions of tracks can be downloaded.

Kylie Minogue features prominently on the store’s virtual shelves. Her highly-rated X album is available to Nokia downloaders for £8, five days before it hits retail stores. Individual tracks from the feisty Aussie’s comeback release are available for 80p.

This week also saw Girls Aloud’s latest offering, Tangled Up, appear in the music store. Last week saw US rockers The Killers boost sales of their B-sides and rarities collection, Sawdust, through music stores sales. Album track Show You How should appeal to the Nokia generation - it starts with a mobile phone voicemail message.

JBL On Call 5310 System

Posted by admin 9 September, 2007 (0) Comment

JBL has launched what it says is the world’s first iPod dock-style speaker system for mobile phones. The JBL On Call 5310 system allows MP3 tracks stored on the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic phone to be played out through some nice two-channel speakers.

It features two 3-watt Odyssey transducers, an integrated amplifier and a computer-controlled equalizer. While it’s obviously not the most powerful speaker dock we’ve ever seen, it’s very cool that it’s designed for the Nokia phone instead of the Apple iPod.

It also runs on four AA batteries, which will provide up to six hours of music-listening pleasure, so the system is ideal for travelling with - although not as ideal as the phone itself, obviously.

The JBL On Call 5310 system will be available at a price of around £67 in November.

NOKIA E90 Delayed

Posted by admin 20 August, 2007 (0) Comment

NOKIA E90
A problem with the microphone has been blamed for the delay, after concerns were raised following Nokia testing. But the manufacturer said the issue would be resolved relatively soon: ‘There was a small issue from one of the factories. We’ve put on hold some of the production, which will obviously mean that some of the retailers find it a bit harder to get hold of the product just for a short while. But it should ease up in the coming weeks.’

‘We didn’t plan to launch the E90 until later, but we brought it in early because retailers were clamouring for it. Dealers will probably feel frustrated that the stock isn’t there at the moment, but it will be.’
